This is the Vredestein V61 in 18x8.50-8, a 4-ply tubeless tire built for light ag and turf work. The open 5-rib tread runs deep, with the distinctive ring pattern Vredestein uses to keep the tire steady and self-cleaning when soil packs in. It fits hay tedders, small tractors, riding mowers, and other power equipment that calls for this size.
The 5-rib layout spreads a wide contact patch across the ground, so you get minimal rutting and less soil compaction on soft fields and lawns. The nylon carcass is flexible and holds up to peak loads, and the tread rings add a layer of protection against thorns and stones working into the body. Several equipment makers spec the V61 as original fitment for those reasons.
Overall diameter is 18.3 inches, section width is 8.27 inches, and the 4-ply rating carries up to 1,168 lb. It mounts tubeless on an 8-inch rim. A few things to confirm before you order: check that your current tire is a 2- or 4-ply in this size, since the V61 4-ply replaces those. The rib tread is built for traction in turf and field conditions, not for sustained pavement running.
