About this tire

This is the Deestone D401 in 5.50-16, a 6-ply tri-rib F-2 front tire for tractors and farm equipment. The three-rib F-2 tread is what you run on a steer axle: the ribs hold the furrow line so the tractor tracks straight and the front doesn't push.

At 6-ply (LR C) it carries 1,050 lbs and runs an 18/32 tread depth. It measures about 28.1 inches overall diameter and 5.9 inches section width, and mounts on a 16x4 rim. This is a tube-type tire, so run a tube inside.
