About this tire
The Kenda K478 X-Trac is built for grip when the ground turns soft. The siped lugs bite into mud, snow, and ice instead of packing up and sliding, which makes this a solid winter tire for a walk-behind snow blower and a warm-weather choice for a tiller. Greg buys Kenda direct, so this is the same tread we trust on our own equipment.
This is a 15x5.00-6 with a 6-inch rim diameter and a 2-ply rating (Load Range A), rated to 430 lbs at 18 psi. Overall diameter runs about 14.8 inches with a 5.2-inch section width. It mounts on a 6x3.5 rim. Each tire is sold on its own, so set your quantity at checkout for the number of wheels you're running.
One honest note on fit: the K478 is rated for off-highway use only, and that aggressive snow-and-mud tread is loud and a little rough on pavement. If you mostly run hard surfaces, a turf tire is the better pick. For traction in winter slop or loose dirt, this is what you want.
